The Town of Marion announced Oct. 21 that its annual Veterans Day ceremony will take place at Old Landing Veteran's Park on Front Street on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. If weather is bad, the ceremony will move indoors to the Sippican School Multipurpose Room.

The guest speaker will be Lieutenant Christopher P. Gerrior, U.S. Navy (Retired), the Tri-Town Veterans Service Officer. The Sippican School Band, led by Jennifer Estacio, will perform patriotic music during the event.

The town invited residents to "join the Town of Marion as we honor our Veterans."

Later that day, the Marion Council on Aging will host a luncheon at noon at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center. The luncheon is open to veterans, active duty service members, spouses and guests. Those planning to attend must RSVP by Nov. 6 by calling 508-748-3570.
